(Summary description)The General Office of jiangsu Provincial Government recently issued special opinions, officially started the construction of Yancheng wind power and seawater desalination industrial demonstration park. At present, the park has been located in Dafeng Lingang Industrial Park, and it is planned to build a desalination production line with a daily output of 10,000 tons within this year. Seawater desalination is a high energy consumption industry. More than 150 countries and regions in the world generally use thermal power plants to provide the electricity needed for desalination. In this process, traditional energy such as coal is used, which is easy to cause secondary pollution. This time, our province is using wind desalination technology, is the first at home and abroad, with independent intellectual property rights, low comprehensive cost of desalination. Gu Weidong, the chief scientist of the national "973" plan unconnected wind power project team and the president of the Provincial Macroeconomic Research Institute, introduced that the project team had successfully trial-produced wind power in Dafeng before, and the water quality of the system was stable, in line with the national drinking water standard, and the comprehensive energy consumption per ton of water was about 3 KWH. Jiangsu is relatively abundant in fresh water resources, why to vigorously develop seawater desalination industry? Wang Zhizhong, deputy secretary general of the provincial government, introduced that if the desalted seawater is sent into the municipal pipe network as domestic water, there is really no high comparative benefit for Jiangsu at the present stage. Therefore, there should be a new business model for the development of seawater desalination industry in Jiangsu province, which should be developed towards high-end drinking water, physiological saline, medical water and other high-end water direction. It is understood that the demonstration zone will be planned to build seawater desalination area, mineral water filling area, seawater desalination equipment manufacturing area and by-product processing area, to attract the leading enterprises of seawater desalination fan manufacturing, concentrated salt treatment, desalinated water commercial operation to settle down, and realize the coordinated industrial agglomeration development. At present, the demonstration park has been supported by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Dafeng is striving to be listed as a national seawater desalination demonstration city. Energy experts point out that in the long run, with the increasingly prominent water resources problem, desalination will become a national strategic issue, Jiangsu new energy industry has a good foundation, if the wind power and desalination industry scale development, commercial application of new ways, have a demonstration significance for the world.
